ASA Meetings

We would be happy to advise you on the establishment and implementation of an occupational safety committee in accordance with Section 11 ASiG.

Technical safety support according to DGUV V2

Advice from a specialist for occupational safety (SiFa)

Our safety specialists advise you in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (ArbSchG) or the Occupational Safety Act (ASiG) as well as DGUV regulation 2.

The safety-related support goes far beyond the content of the basic safety-related support and the company-specific support in accordance with DGUV V2.

As the main contact for internal safety, we advise you on the use of occupational medicine and the implementation of necessary and prescribed safety tests.

We attach great importance to the well-founded professional qualification of our consultants and provide them with ongoing training in interdisciplinary topics in order to be able to classify and professionally assess all issues in discussions at the highest management level.

We provide you with qualified specialists and consultants with many years of experience. Talking to supervisors from the authorities and employers’ liability insurance associations, weighing up the necessary measures are just as much a part of their skills as developing an occupational health and safety management system.

Safety Project

Safety project managers provide coordination, organization and support of your safety projects under the internal labor protection. In practice, safety project managers are used for complex projects for which safety-related cooperation with other internal departments or external partners (including contractors) is necessary.

Our safety engineers, technicians and foremen coordinate, for example, individual structural changes, adaptations and commissioning of machines as well as the construction or expansion of technical systems and production lines.

Benefit from our experience in managing projects in areas such as heavy industry, petrochemicals and power plant construction.

Health and safety committee meetings

The occupational safety committee, also ASA, is to be set up with a company size of 21 employees in accordance with § 11 ASiG. It is to be understood as an organ of occupational health and safety and is convened by the management or the employer. The occupational safety committee is composed of the following members:

  • Management / employer
  • Specialist for occupational safety
  • Company doctor
  • Security officer
  • Works council / employee representation (2 members appointed by the works council)
  • Representative for severely disabled persons (right to participate)

The committee members meet at least four times a year to report and discuss issues relating to in-house occupational safety. The committee is used to discuss, advise and provide information on specific occupational safety issues. The committee is not a decision-making body!

The success of an ASA meeting depends largely on the corporate culture of discussion and communication. The more effectively decision-makers and functionaries exchange information on upcoming issues of in-house occupational safety, the higher the efficiency of the occupational safety concept.

Our occupational safety specialists are members of numerous committees and will be happy to coordinate technical issues for you.
